Dimensions from Häfele’s Matrix Box S Slim technical data. Häfele state their dimensional data is not binding, so check the first drawer against the hardware before cutting a full set.

How to use it

Cabinet in, cutting list out.

  1. Enter the cabinet. Outside width, side panel thickness and internal depth. The calculator picks the longest runner that fits, which needs the nominal length plus 5 mm inside the cabinet.
  2. Choose the drawer back. Most drawers use your own 16 or 18 mm board back. Choose metal back if you are using Häfele's metal back instead.
  3. List the drawer fronts from the bottom up. Enter the carcass height, the base and top panel thickness, where the lowest front starts and the gap between fronts. Use the buttons for a standard three-drawer or two pan-drawer 720 mm unit.
  4. Leave the side heights on Auto to get the tallest side that fits behind each front, or pick your own. A side that will not fit is shown in red.
  5. Print the sheet or download the cutting list. You get the base and back sizes, the runner line for each drawer, the runner screw positions, and a front drilling drawing for every drawer front showing where the fixing holes go.

Technical information

Matrix Box S Slim technical information.

From Häfele's Matrix Box S Slim catalogue pages (10.85A to 10.85D) and fitting instructions. Häfele state that their dimensional data is not binding, so check the first drawer against the hardware.

Cutting sizes

LW is the internal cabinet width and NL the nominal runner length.

Drawer base, board backNL − 24 long by LW − 75 wide
Drawer base, metal backNL − 22 long by LW − 75 wide
