How to use it
Door width is the cabinet width divided by the number of doors, less the gap: 600 ÷ 2 − 3 = 297. Drawer fronts are the full cabinet width less the gap. For drawer stacks, the top drawer is the height you set (140 mm by default) and the rest share the remaining height equally, less the gap between each front. A 720 mm three drawer unit gives 140, 284.5 and 284.5 mm fronts.
Questions
For a standard 720 mm high base unit with overlay doors, a single 715 × 597 mm door. A 1000 mm unit with two doors takes two 715 × 497 mm doors.
Around 3 mm between doors and drawer fronts is standard for overlay doors. Inset doors are usually set with a 2 to 3 mm gap all round.
